Attorney Norman Harris, ESQ

Meet Norman Harris, a multi-talented individual whose life is a harmonious blend of law, ministry, music, and community service.

As the Owner of Champions for Justice Law, LLC in Tampa, Florida, Norman’s law practice specializes in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Music Entertainment Contract Law. He extends his expertise as a Legal and Business Consultant for various church ministries and music industry professionals. Norman is also a contributing writer for Emerge Magazine and offers legal commentary on the TV series “For My Man,” broadcast on TV One and other networks.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Norman is deeply committed to ministry and social activism. He holds an ordination as an Elder and is the Founder of Vertical Renewal, a ministry in Tampa. He also serves on various boards, including the Arts Conservatory for Teens, Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan, United Negro College Fund Leadership Council, and Bay Area Legal Services Development Council.

Norman also holds professional memberships with distinguished legal and community organizations including George Edgecombe Bar Association, Goldberg-Cacciatore Criminal Inn of Court, Hillsborough County NAACP, Hillsborough County Urban League, and Florida Rising.

Norman is also musician. His passion for music shines brightly in his role as a vocalist, electric and bass guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He shares this musical journey with his brother, Alex.

Norman holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Mercer University School of Law, a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology (Emory University), and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from LaGrange College, graduating with honors.

Norman’s exceptional dedication to community service is evident through his receipt of prestigious awards, including the 2017 Exceptional Community Service Image Award, the 2020 Patricia Spencer Distinguished Community Service Award, and the 2023 Man of the Year Award.

Family is of utmost importance to Norman, as he and his wife, Alicia Harris, lovingly parent three children.
